Firstly, I would like to say just how grateful Daniel and I have been for Keren's endless passion and commitment to our important day. From the moment we chose her as our celebrant, she was excited and dedicated to making our day perfect and suited to us. Leading up to the day we both felt secure and comfortable that Keren was going to conduct the kind of ceremony we were looking for and boy did she nail it! We felt Keren cared as much as we did about making our wedding day special and tailored to our unique family. 

We had several factors that were especially important to us, we wanted to include our little boy in the process and she helped us do that in such a special way. We felt our ideas were entirely respected and embraced by Keren and we could not imagine anyone else executing it in such a thoughtful and genuine way. She even came with us to the venue prior to the day to get a vibe of what we were looking for and put in hours and hours of her time and energy, making sure we were getting exactly what we were hoping for. 

Keren was organised, with helpful timelines for getting things done so we never had to worry about if it would all come together on the day and was available to chat any time. We met with her in person several times before the day and she helped us with planning not just the ceremony but also our vows, music playlist, setting the tone of the day, even setting up the morning of the ceremony. Keren had thought of all the important things that can easily get missed, like where to seat the grandmothers, the plan for our toddler should he have a meltdown (always a big risk!) managing the music, how the day would flow in general as well as being available to coordinate the morning of, should anything go awry. Keren took these roles on independently and confidently, so that on the day all Daniel and myself had to do was manage ourselves. 

Keren brought joy, humour and light to our ceremony, and helped us keep it fuss free, which is exactly what we wanted. Ours was her first official wedding and we could not believe how confident and relaxed she was. All of my family and friends praised her exceptional efforts and commented that our ceremony had suited our little family to a tee. Looking back, Keren was the easiest decision of our day and myself and Daniel agreed that our ceremony was our favourite part of the whole event. 

We feel genuinely blessed to have had a soul so invested in our day and so excited to share in our love, thank you Keren!

My husband and I met with Keren about 5 months prior to the big day to plan our ceremony - we requested something non-sentimental that reflected our relationship and our approach to the day i.e. pragmatic, humourous and a celebration of finding partnership despite long distances. She took this on completely, and brought her flair and comedy to the script, via at least three re-writes to accommodate the rapidly changing circumstances.

Keren was diligent, always organised and clear in her communication with us during the planning over the next 4 months. Her approach is meticulous, bordering on obsessive in her attention to detail in filling in forms, which meant that we had no concerns at all that everything was under control. We even had choices of the font for our marriage certificate, right down to a penguin themed introduction to the ceremony - all part of the way she let us feel that we were designing our own day.

Then everything changed for us with the arrival of COVID restrictions just as we were in the last 10 days prior to the wedding day. Keren kept a clear head as all the plans were thrown out of the window, and ultimately she managed to pull off a near miracle, by arranging an alternate venue, ceremony and a new date (1 week earlier) all with less than 24 hours notice! 

Everything went perfectly, leading to the most memorable wedding - and we absolutely couldn't have done it without Keren and Head in the Clouds Celebrations.
